Since this situation cannot go on forever the AC/LC made following Announcement:
|Members of Udon Expat Club.
The Club’s efforts to solve the issues preceding and arising (ensuing) from the resignation of Mr Broeckx (to be the Club’s Treasurer) in a respectable manner have not been successful.
Therefore, congruent with the Constitution and By–Laws of Udon Expat Club (paragraph 2.1, second sentence), we saw no other option as to start the procedure to expel him from the Club.
In congruence with the Constitution and By–Laws of Udon Expat Club (paragraph 2.4) the Administration Committee shall, with respect to his right to be heard, prepare the case.
Procedures will be completed during April.
In spite of his expulsion, the Club’s claim to return all the Club’s financial records, documents, assets and petty cash remains intact.

A lot of new equipment have been installed a mong them a CT scanner (64 slices) and an MRI 1,5T. The first 50 users will enjoy a substantial discount. The standard

9. Open forum
It is preferred to have a rectangular table arrangement for the meeting.
The question about possible NEW RULES FOR VISA opened a lively discussion. In short; the Immigration Department is reorganized. The rules are still the same. However, due to fraud, especially with fake marriages in order to get a visa, the rules have been tightened. Sufficient and official verification of the papers and financial status demanded and requested by the Immigration, are required. In case of any doubt, the officer will request additional information and proof.
Everybody is invited to visit the Udon Football Team. For the match–schedule, please visit our Website. They play at the Royal Education College and Stadium near the crossing of the Ring Road and Pracha Ruksa Road.
In the basement of the new Landmark a branch of Villa Market will be opened soon. They use to have a wide choice of food for Expats.
For your information:
In the future there might be a “One Stop Centre for Expats” operated by the City Administration, where foreigners (Expats) will be informed where to go for official papers (Yellow book, Driving–license, Visa etc.)
10. Lively coffee break with spring rolls, made by Jake’s wife. Thank you so much again.
11. Today’s guest speaker, Dr. Kasem (cardiologist) of Bangkok Hospital Udon, spoke about heart diseases.
Dr. Kasem discussed, with the help of video and text presentation, the different kinds of heart diseases, their causes and their remedies. He stressed that it is very important to consult a doctor immediately, in case any symptoms appear. These may not only be a pain in the chest, but can also be pain in the joints of your arms or legs and/or a numb feeling in your toes and/or finger tips.
Do not underestimate any sign of possible problems. It maybe that your heart is going to
fail. Only a quick response may save your life.
12. Report of the Standing Committees.
|– Later on in the year, among others, the visit to the airport and a visit to the Zoo and King Cobra village (halfway Khon Kaen) will be investigated.|
The lack of members in the Activity Committee hampers organizing events, trips and so on. We, emphatic, appeal on the membership to participate in the organizing. Volunteers are welcome.
Jake informed that he is hopeful and in close contact with both our existing and new sponsors. He also made an appeal on all of us to bring him in contact with the management of potential new sponsors we might know.
