UDON THANI EXPATS CLUB
GUIDELINES FOR THE RAISING AWARENESS GROUP
You cannot raise your awareness if you’re negative !
1] Be positive
2] Allow for a difference of opinion from another person
3] Check your ego at the door
4] If you’re argumentative [and as such not positive] you will be asked to leave [see item 3]
5] Touch on negative issues BRIEFLY !
6] It is not a discussion group
7] We have a facilitator, not a group leader
8] It is not the objective of the group to discuss religion [no dogma]
9] If there are synchronicities with the subject(s) discussed and religious teachings then it can be freely discussed
10] We are a group open to people of all religions [see item 8]
11] We conduct our meetings according to Udon Thani Expats Club guidelines and principals.
The real measure of spiritual development lies in how well a person manages disturbing emotions such as anger and jealousy – not in attaining rarefied states during meditation or exhibiting feats of physical self control.
“These guidelines may, within the rules of the “Constitution and By-Laws” of the Udon Thani Expats Club, be amended from time to time if the need arises.
