Introduction – Udon Thani Expats Club
The Club, named “Udon Expat Club”, was established in 2008 by Lars Erik Brandt, and is an independent, non-profit-making, non-governmental organization (NGO).A “CONSTITUTION” was drawn up and signed in Udon Thani, dated the first of January 2010.
The organization and management of the Club is based on democratic principals, and anchored in its “Constitution and By-Laws“.
To facilitate an easier search for the social media and web-search-engines, in January 2014, the Club’s name has been adjusted to “UDON THANI EXPATS CLUB”.
The purpose of the Club is to enrich the lives of its members by exchanging and providing useful information that benefits its members with the theme “Expats helping Expats”.
The Club seeks to achieve this purpose by maintaining a responsive and current Website, organizing monthly meetings, a weekly brunch, activities of mutual interest and by reacting on member’s relevant suggestions and requests.
To support and expand the Club, new members and sponsors are sought on an ongoing basis. At the same time this would contribute to the Club’s collective knowledge and experience.
The Club welcomes expats of all nationalities who have an interest or a residence in Northeastern Thailand.
For more information and insight please continue on this Website or even better, visit one of the Club’s monthly meetings (see home page).
Thank you for showing an interest.
J.J. van Spaandonk,
Secretary of Udon Thani Expats Club.
